Greetings and welcome to the OFFICAL Deadly Secret web site. D.S. is a small project that was created by two musicians out to create a dark gothic musical atmosphere. Both guitarists are musicians with over twenty years expierence combined. Although this project comprises of only two artists, the extreme diversity in sound is un- mistakeable. Backgrounds for both men range from Rock, to Classical. Just to name a few of the main influences for this particular project are, King Diamond, Cradle Of Filth, HIM, Carcass, Emperor, Mortiis, Ozzy, Poisonblack, and Slayer. The sound they achieve is not particulary heavy, but veary catchy and heart felt. The collaberation consists of Dave Myers, and Duane Mather. Mr. Mather is mainly the riff guitarist and all over musical arranger and vocal assistant. He is responsible for more than half of the main guitar riffing heard in the recordings. Mr. Myers, also the groups guitarist is more responsible for lead vocals and drum programming, as well as all keyboard work. Hailing out of Batavia NY, they have been very slowly working, they tend not to rush things and are not in ANY hurry. To them perfection takes time. And LOTS of it. This site is an introduction to all of you out there about the hidden jewel that is DEADLY SECRET.
